Email: Personal/Professional Networks – Early Learning Corps Interventionist

Suggested subject line: Can you help our students become more?

Body:

Dear <name>,

Thousands of kids in Michigan need help in early learning, and your time can make all the difference. Interventionists are needed at <school name> to help students become better readers and learners. Not only does this opportunity make a difference for these kids, but it also helps our community. No experience is needed as excellent training and expert coaching is provided.

Michigan Education Corps Early Learning Corps Interventionists serve Pre-K students who need help in early learning. In return, Interventionists earn a stipend every 2 weeks, receive up to an additional $5,176.50 for college tuition or federal student loans, and gain professional experience in a school environment. MEC also offers free health insurance and free childcare assistance for those who qualify. Interventionists can also complete part of the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential requirements. Michigan Education Corps is proud to offer members Community and workforce development groups to foster community and career building.

Interventionists who successfully complete their service term will earn up to a $300 bonus.

We’re currently recruiting interventionists to begin service on August 25, 2025.

There are two ways you can help:

  1. Become an interventionist
  2. Help get the word out so we can ensure our students have the extra help they need to be successful.
